Takemichi Hanagaki, a freeter in his forties, learned one day that Hinata Tachibana and her younger brother Naoto had been murdered by the Tokyo Manji Gang.
Hinata and Naoto were both Tachibana family members.
Takemichi can go precisely twelve years back in time to the year 2005 when he gets shoved in front of a train.
Takemichi sees Naoto and tells him the precise day that he and Hinata will pass away as he is reliving his middle school years.
When they shake hands, Takemichi is instantly thrown back in time, which leads to a paradoxical circumstance where Naoto is able to go on living and working as a detective.
Naoto has come to the conclusion that every time Takemichi and him hold hands, they go through time for an extra 15 years.
Takemichi has made the decision to utilize the information he has gained from the future to save Hinata.
Kiyomasa, a member of the Tokyo Manji Gang, oversaw the covert conflict in which Takemichi’s erstwhile associates were made to participate.
Mikey, who is in charge of the gang, admires Takemichi for his unwavering commitment to their security.
Takemichi learns that one of his other buddies, Akkun, was on the verge of going to prison until his recent run-in with Mikey stopped it.
When Akkun commits himself out of dread, Takemichi understands that the Tokyo Manji Gang is a greater danger to his companions than he first believed.
Takemichi discovers via his time travel that the Tokyo Manji Gang is at war with the rival gang Moebius in order to get revenge on Pah-companion.
Takemichi discovers that Mikey would ultimately behave violently as a result of the death of Draken, his second-in-command, in the future.
While Pah-chin surrenders to the authorities after stabbing the Moebius gang’s Osanai, Draken escapes the conflict unharmed.
The Tokyo Manji Gang has different ideas on how to effectively assist Pah-chin in this situation as a result.
Takemichi is able to settle Mikey and Draken’s argument, but on August 3, 2005, the Tokyo Manji Gang was attacked by a gang of Moebius members commanded by Shoji Hanma, a Valhalla member.
Takemichi discovers that Peh-yan became involved in their scheme after Mikey and Draken let Pah-chin to be imprisoned and that Kiyomasa stabbed Draken as a result of Draken humiliating him and forcing him to quit the Tokyo Manji Gang.
This information is given to Takemichi by Peh-yan.
Takemichi beats Kiyomasa, the Tokyo Manji Gang prevails in the combat, and Draken fully recovers from his wounds.
the arcs “Valhalla” and “Bloody Halloween”
After crossing time, Takemichi arrives in the present to see that Hinata and his colleagues are still dying in this version of the events.
When Takemichi traveled back in time, he was the only one who knew Tetta Kisaki’s part in the violent change of the Tokyo Manji Gang.
When he returned to the past, he discovered that Kisaki had just recently joined the gang and had taken advantage of Pah’s absence to assume control of his sector.
Having been convinced to do so by Kazutora Hanemiya, a former co-founder of the Tokyo Manji Gang, the first division captain Keisuke Baji will also be departing to join Valhalla.
If Mikey is successful in getting Baji back, he’ll follow his word to Takemichi and kick Kisaki out of the group.
After being accepted into Takashi Mitsuya’s division, Takemichi is now an officially recognized member of the Tokyo Manji Gang.
Takemichi learns that Mikey has animosity against Kazutora as a result of the demise of Mikey’s elder brother Shinichiro, who died two years before.
Also revealed to Takemichi by Chifuyu Matsuno is the fact that Baji feigned to have quit the gang in order to look into Kisaki’s behavior.
The Tokyo Manji Gang would eventually be integrated into Valhalla during a fight on October 31, 2005, popularly known as “Bloody Halloween,” and that Mikey was meant to be the leader of Valhalla when it was formed by Kisaki.
They lost because, in retribution for killing Baji, Mikey killed Kazutora.
